Altadena is an an extraordinary place to live — and all of us here would like to keep it that way. This blog is dedicated to capturing the life, history, preservation and improvement battles, the wildlife (animals included!), talent, beauty, and magic that is in these foothills. Starting in 2010, I’m going to more finely focus on Art-a-dena, as the arts are alive and happening here. As a photographer, I love to shoot all things Altadena and have images posted at http://altadenadailyphoto.wordpress.com. While I’ll never get a photo posted daily, I will post regularly after a recent hiatus. I invite you to share your views here with me. check out my portfolio at www.photodeb.viewbook.com.  — Debbi Swanson Patrick, 14-year resident

Hi Deb, Do you remember me from City of Hope?
How are you? I’m sorry to read about your husband. Didn’t know that you got married. Are you still in that great house that once belonged to my god-daughter and her parents? I’m living in Altadena now. Lot’s of changes in my life. Would love to hear from you.

  6. Your comment makes me smile. Hang around with us bloggers, especially me with my typos and you’ll get use to the fact that we value you for your person and your ideas (and that gorgeous art I add) and not for those perfect details.
